NOTICE OF COMBINED MONTHLY MEETINGS

PLANNING SESSION AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS’ MEETINGS

The Planning Session and the regular Commission Meeting for the Hardin County Board of Commissioners will be combined into one meeting this month. The Planning Session will convene on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., with the regular Commission Meeting starting shortly after the Planning Session concludes. Both meetings will take place in the Circuit Courtroom at the Hardin County Courthouse.  Both meetings will address matters as may be properly presented.
Members of the public who wish to speak at the Board of Commissioners’ meeting are invited to sign up before the meeting begins.
Both meetings are open to the public, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Tennessee and Opioid Settlement Funds:

Hardin County is a participating municipality and will be receiving a portion of the Opioid settlement funds.

Municipalities receiving opioid settlement funds are required to use the funds to supplement and strengthen efforts on substance use disorder prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery. A more in-depth review of what abatement activities are permissible with these funds, can be found in the following Remediation Use Guidelines document.
